WTH? Pyrophosphate? Blue 1? Corn syrup, Dextrose, Modified Cornstarch?
These are the ingredients for commercial marshmallows. Doesn't sound to appetizing does it?
We didn't think so either. We've always thought marshmallows should be dreamy clouds of soft sweet goodness- not dry, dusty chemical concoctions. That is why we set to make our own. But instead of using a mad scientist chemistry set, we went into our kitchen and used egg whites, gelatin, sugar, and deep flavorful vanilla.
